Township of Washington, NJ – May 19, 2010 – On Saturday, May 8th, Oritani Bank celebrated the Grand Opening of their new Bergenfield branch office located at 223 South Washington Avenue. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Kevin J. Lynch, President and CEO of Oritani Bank and President of the OritaniBank Charitable Foundation, presented a $10,000 donation to the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps, which has been serving the emergency medical needs of Bergenfield residents since 1941.
As part of the grand opening festivities, Oritani Bank hosted a free Family Fun Day to introduce local residents to the bank. The well-attended event included food, entertainment and prizes. Residents were also offered the opportunity to take advantage of promotions on banking products, including Optimum Gold checking accounts and convenient CDs with special rates. With the opening of the Bergenfield office, Oritani Bank now has 22 branches serving both individuals and small to mid-size businesses in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic Counties. The bank has undergone major growth in recent years and has doubled its assets since 2006.
